Software engineering (SE) is the systematic and disciplined approach that covers different techniques, methods and processes for the inception, development, operation and maintenance of complex and large-scale software systems.
The research in software engineering at FAST-NUCES is conducted by the Centre for Empirical and Evidence-Based Research in Software Engineering and Management. We closely collaborate with the industry to solve real world industrial challenges pertaining to software engineering practices in the local and international industry.
Within software engineering, our research is focused on software testing, agile software development, software process engineering, requirements engineering, DevOps and continuous integration, testing and deployment.
