The parable of those who spend
of their substance in the way of Allah
is that of a grain of corn:
It grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains.
Allah gives manifold increase to whom He pleases;
And Allah cares for all and He knows all things.

Qur'an (2:261)

FAST RELIEF FOR BALOCHISTAN EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

Yet another calamity has befallen our nation. A powerful earthquake hit Balochistan, an impoverished and neglected province. The aid agency Care International put the death toll at 500-600. More than 15,000 are left homeless. According to Ziarat’s mayor:

"There is great destruction. Not a single house is intact."

Our duty to our brothers and sisters in Balochistan calls us. We did whatever we could for the victims of October 08, 2005 Earthquake and our efforts didn’t go in waste. We make an appeal to unite again and show a greater level of unity, enthusiasm and love for our Muslim brothers and sisters in pain.
