The Webmasters

The Webmasters is a student organization with a commitment to professionalism comprising web design & development elites, whose main function is the continual development and maintenance of the Karachi campus web portal khi.nu.edu.pk with features including Courses Forum, Student Blog, Career Centre, Campus News and the Graduate Profile among an ever expanding list of information services. They also conduct seminars to increase awareness of the market’s demands, hold events & workshops with the aim to provide motivation and opportunity for students to learn new things, and organize competitions to expose those who have the greatest potential. DIGITALeyez (a technology event), seminars on the Software Freedom Day and workshops on web development are some of the greatest works of this committee.

IEEE-NUCES

IEEE-NUCES Karachi is one of the 1300 student branches in the whole world. It organizes seminars, tutorials, workshops and paper calls to fulfill/support the research and engineering process in the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Karachi campus. Upon joining IEEE, a student member automatically becomes a member of their respective Student Branch.

SIBSS

The Software Information Books and Seminar Society provides the students with the prospect to test, share and experience their infinitude of abilities. Sibss has come up with unmatched seminars, software competitions, quizzes, book fairs, CD exhibitions and workshops in the past couple of years -- the Gaming Extreme Tournament (GET) being the best of all.

TLC

The Literary Club promotes the aesthetic traits of the FASTians. With ventures like declamations, painting and quiz competitions, TLC has been an outstanding student committee.

Sportics

Volleyball, football, cricket or basketball…FASTians play it all! Sportics is the committee which brings together students from various corners of academia by organizing both inter and intra-university tournaments.

ProCom.Net

ProCom is the annual event of FAST-NU Karachi organized solely by the FASTians. It features a variety of competitions and seminars encompassing software and hardware. It is a convention in which students from all over the country join in to share and explore their ideas.

DECS

The most happening committee of FAST-NU, the Dramatics and Extra-Curricular Society (DECS) has only one objective – fun! DECS has always been on the go in planning extra-curricular activities such as picnics and melas for the FASTians which prove to be both exhilarating and exclusive. The very formal Annual Dinner is one elite event organized by DECS which is usually followed by a concert that rocks your world!
