Center for Research in Artificially Intelligent Systems (CRAIS)

The Center for Research in Artificially Intelligent Systems (CRAIS) is focused to develop capable systems which can meet the growing needs of efficiency, scalability, reliability, and intelligence through integration of Cloud, Mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), GPGPUs, and Software Defined Networks. The center is motivated by the increasing utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High Performance Computing (HPC) in developing systems which can be useful in various domains such as Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Systems Programming, and Security. The center aims to explore various research questions as well as develop commercial products which are applicable across various fields such as smart cities, health, education, business intelligence, finance, e-governance, and bio-informatics.

Research and Development activities of the center are governed through Syslab

Most recently, the center has won a research grant through National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI). In that, a commercial product is being developed to impart online education to school going children through adaptive and adaptable learning
