Muhammad Shahzad Shaikh is an accomplished Islamic scholar and Associate Professor of Islamic Studies at FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Karachi. With over a decade of teaching experience, he has been instrumental in educating students in Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Pakistan Studies since 2012. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Karachi, where his research focused on the alignment of Hanafi jurisprudence with narrations in Sahih Bukhari.
Dr. Shaikh is a prolific researcher with numerous publications in HEC-recognized journals. His scholarly work includes critical studies on Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, and contemporary issues considering Prophetic teachings. His contributions span both classical Islamic scholarship and modern pedagogical issues, such as media’s impact on child development.
He is also the author of two books, including the internationally published (Arabic):
بدائع الأصداف في رجال صحيح البخاري الذين رووا عن السادة الأحناف (2024), which explores the narrators of Sahih Bukhari who also reported from Imam Abu Hanifa and his students.
