Mr. Syed Ashad Ali

Syed Ashad Ali is a Lecturer of Mathematics at the Department of Sciences and Humanities, FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Karachi Campus. He holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. His Master’s research focused on “applying computational methods for modeling and finding approximate solutions to complex engineering and physical problems governed by partial differential equations (PDEs) or integral equations.” This work reflects his strong interest in connecting theoretical mathematics with practical applications in science and engineering.

With over eight years of teaching experience, including prior academic engagement at NED University, Mr. Ashad has taught a variety of undergraduate mathematics courses. His teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, enabling students to apply mathematical concepts effectively in computational and real-world contexts. His academic and research interests include applied and computational mathematics, with a particular focus on mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and the integration of mathematics with computer science.
