Ms. Huma Hafeez holds an M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. She is currently serving as a Lecturer at the FAST School of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Management Sciences (CS, EE, FSM) at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES), Karachi, since 2023.
Ms. Hafeez’s academic journey is defined by her multidimensional research interests, which blend psychology, business linguistics, and qualitative thematic content analysis. Her research explores how linguistic patterns shape communication within business environments and other applied domains, focusing on the intersection of language, human behavior, and professional settings.
At FAST-NUCES, Ms. Hafeez is involved in teaching a variety of courses, including Expository Writing, Functional English, English I and II, English Language Skills (ELS), and Communication Skills. Her teaching methodology emphasizes effective communication, writing proficiency, and the development of critical thinking skills among students in diverse fields such as computer science, electrical engineering, and management sciences.
