biography

Ms. Kauser Malik is a Clinical Psychologist and an educator, working as Lecturer at FAST – NUCES, Karachi Campus. She holds an MS in Clinical Psychology from Bahria University, Karachi, and brings over a decade of experience in academia, clinical practice, and student counseling. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD with a focus on how group psychology interacts with emerging technologies in decision-making and behavior.

Previously, she has worked at Bahria University where she taught core psychology courses such Clinical Psychology, Social Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Personality Theories, Mental Health & Psychopathology at undergraduate level. Additionally, she has served as an external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate project theses.

Her research papers have been at key national conferences, notably “Gender Differences in Self-Stigma and Attitudes towards Seeking Psychological Help” at 7th International Conference on Positive Psychology, held at National Institute of Psychology, Islamabad.

At FAST-NUCES, Ms. Kauser works on applying research-based teaching methods, practical assessments, and individualized student feedback to enhance academic outcomes. Through her Civic and Community Engagement course at the University, Ms. Kauser had placed students in impactful roles across organizations such as, District Prison and Correctional Facilities Malir and Central Jail Karachi, Dar-ul-Sukun for Special Children and Senior Citizens, Robin Hood Army and JDC Foundation. These placements helped students gain practical experience, develop empathy, and contribute to underserved communities.
