Sania Urooj holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Bahria University, Karachi, Pakistan. Currently, she serves as a Faculty Member in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at FAST University, Karachi where She has been teaching since January 2023. During her academic career, she also had the privilege of publishing a research paper titled “Adapting Transfer Learning for Accurate ECG-Based Heart Disease Classification” in the International Journal of Innovations in Science & Technology (IJIST). Her research interests are focused on Deep Learning and Neural Networks, Computer Vision and Image Recognition, and Predictive Modeling for Disease Diagnosis, with a particular emphasis on Medical Image Analysis and Interpretation. As part of her academic role, Sania also supervises final-year projects for undergraduate students primarily centered on AI in Clinical Decision Support Systems and Health informatics.
