Ms. Wajiha Akber Durrani holds an M.Phil. in Education (IQRA University) and Masters in English Linguistics (University of Karachi). She is currently serving as Lecturer in English at FAST–National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Karachi. With over a decade of extensive teaching experience at both college and university levels, she specializes in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to undergraduate students of FAST School of Management Sciences and FAST School of Computing. She has also taught Technical Report Writing to students of Electrical Engineering department, reflecting her ability to teach across a range of academic disciplines.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wajiha has held important teaching positions at respected institutions such as IQRA University, Aga Khan Education Services Pakistan, and Allama Iqbal Open University. Her commitment to academic excellence is further reflected in her contributions as an editor of English textbooks published locally and internationally and as a mentor, guiding students in developing research and academic writing skills. Her teaching approach emphasizes clarity, critical thinking, and practical language use, preparing students for both academic and professional success.
